Warm, creamy, and super versatile.🍁Maple is one of Warm, creamy, and super versatile.🍁Maple is one of nature’s most beautiful wood species. Its fine grain, smooth feel and neutral color make it a natural fit for kitchens that pair wood and paint. It’s also a very hard, durable wood. No surprise it’s one of our top selling cabinet door materials.

Maple base and island cabinet doors are paired here with warm white painted uppers, a combination that never goes out of style.

Alder and cherry are long-time designer, woodworke Alder and cherry are long-time designer, woodworker and homeowner favorites for their beautiful, warm color and their grain patterns. Cherry is a harder wood species at 950 Janka rating, and Alder is rated 590.

Cherry color darkens and becomes significantly warmer over time, especially when exposed to light. Alder color can also change over time but the effect isn’t as pronounced.

Alder grain is more subtle with less color variation and more consistency. Cherry’s distinct grain pattern is an indicator of high quality and is used in fine furniture as well as cabinetry.
Both are beautiful hardwoods with unique characteristics that make excellent cabinet choices.,
