1. Skinny Shaker and Slim Shaker Styles

Other features that appealed to designers, homeowners and cabinetmakers are the 90 degree joints on TaylorCraft’s 4S door, which create a more stable, durable frame, and the 4S’s smooth back without seams or fasteners.

2. Variations on the Standard Square Inside Edge
TaylorCraft’s flat panel cabinet door with square OE5, or slightly bullnosed outside edge, and IE9 inside edge was another top cabinet door style due to the IE9’s bevel that softens the look without creating too much detail.
3. Natural Wood
In 2024 natural wood is expected to overtake white as the most popular cabinet color. According to the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), when asked to list popular kitchen color trends, 28% of designers chose wood, while 26% chose white. Natural wood instantly brings warmth and unique characteristics to a room. Top requested wood species for cabinet doors in 2023 include white oak, rift white oak, walnut, maple and alder.
