TaylorCraft Cabinet Door Company offers attention to detail “Beyond the Face of the Door” ™

TaylorCraft Cabinet Door Company’s attention to detail doesn’t stop at the face of the door. It permeates every facet of our business, from our construction methods and the quality of every product part, to our packaging materials, shipping partners and the service we provide to our customers.

Below we showcase just a few of the ways we extend our attention to detail beyond what you see on the face of the door.

Cope and Stick Mullion Cabinet Doors

At TaylorCraft Cabinet Door Company we use a half lap joint on our cope and stick mullion cabinet doors. This not only gives the cabinet door added strength where the mullions meet, but it looks beautiful and shows your appreciation for detail and craftsmanship. Whether our cope and stick mullion doors are open or closed, every part of the door is a beautiful addition to the cabinet, and the finished product is stunning.

Cabinet Door Quality

All cabinet doors and drawer fronts are meticulously hand inspected and must pass 11 quality control points before they are approved for delivery. All edges are eased, not only for aesthetics and feel, but for ease and quality of finishing. Raised-panel cope and stick and mitered cabinet doors go through a 10 stage surfacing and sanding process.

Our cabinet doors are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and material. See our spec. book for guarantee details.

Mitered Cabinet Doors

We run our moulders at a minimum rate, for quality rather than speed and as a result, our mitered cabinet doors finish with a smooth, even look and feel that accepts stain beautifully.

Service

While you can ask for an individual Customer Success Representative, we always have a knowledgeable team available to take your order and answer questions.

Even the pencils we hand out to customers have #3 lead, which is more costly and harder to find. The #3 lead lasts longer so you spend less time sharpening.

We value every customer individually and we want your buying experience to be first-rate. We welcome your feedback and we look forward to serving you!

PS. We love this quote by Steve Jobs on attention to detail and this is our philosophy too.

“When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will ever see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through.” Steve Jobs
